Screenshot #8

VITO SmartNavigator supports two types of pushpins. Permanent pushpins always appear on screen, others show up only when you load certain tracks.

To put a pushpin in a certain place you need to tap and hold the place, there appears a screen manage pushpin (see screenshot# 6).

Type in the name of a pushpin, description, select an icon for a pushpin (tap the top right corner of the screen see screenshot#6).

If you tick a checkbox Permanent pushpin this pushpin will always appear on screen, if not, then the pushpin will appear only when you load the current track.

Another way to manage pushpins:

Menu>Pushpins>Pushpin manager (see screenshot #4)

With the help of the Pushpin manager you may Sort the pushpins by letter, this option helps you to quickly find the necessary pushpin(see screenshot #5). If the pushpin is permanent its name is on the white background in the Pushpin manager, if it is not permanent it is on the light green background, if the pushpin belongs to the second loaded track that is of grey color (see section Track Recording)  its name will be on the dark green background.

If you look through one of your tracks and you want to manage one of the pushpins you may tap and hold a pushpin. There appears a menu (see screenshot #8). Here you may set destination to the chosen pushpin, you may get info about the pushpin, you may remove or create a new pushpin by tapping the corresponding menu items (see screenshot #8).

VITO SmartNavigator can show you the direction to a selected pushpin when you, for example, need to find a way to the place you visited once.

To set a destination to a certain pushpin tap Menu>Pushpins>Choose destination (see screenshot #4). The red arrow will show you the direction to the chosen pushpin when it is out of the screen. When the place is on the screen it is indicated by a red square.

Another way to set destination to a place is to tap and hold on a pushpin you want to get to and in the drop-down menu choose Set destination.

Map and Track Viewing

Map and track viewing is fully adjustable: you can zoom in and out, move the map, find your current position by tapping the green icon with an image of a man and a red arrow (see screenshot#9). Users can choose to keep their current position displayed always in the center of the screen by tapping Menu>Center me.

To load a map you need to tap Menu>Map>Load VTM (see screenshot #10)

If there are maps on your Pocket PC they will be displayed and you may choose one you need (see screenshot #11)
