In case you can't connect to Internet from your pocket PC, activation will take more time: click Activate off-line and carefully read instructions in the pop-up window. After you've performed the necessary action you will receive an e-mail with the necessary instructions for completing your activation.

Note: as you can see on-line activation is much easier than the off-line variant, which can take considerably more time. We recommend you on-line activation.

VITO Remote for Smartphone doesn't support CCF files. So, you will need to teach it signals from original remote controls. To learn an infrared command from an original remote:

1. go Start > Settings > Beam and tick the option Receive incoming beams
2. start VITO Remote for Smartphone
3. go Menu > Edit mode
4. Place your Smartphone and an original remote with their infrared ports facing each other
5. press a hardware button on your Smartphoe to which you want to assign a signal
6. press the central joystick button on Smartphone and then immediately press a button on the original remote
7. your Smartphone has learned the signal from the remote control
8. press joystick buttons to select an image for the button
9. or press dial buttons to enter the text for the button

• repeat steps 4-8 to learn as many commands as you need. If there are not enough buttons you can create an additional sheet with buttons that will use additional infrared commands or the same remote control. To do it go Devices > Sheet > New.

After you have learned all the necessary commands turn off Edit mode through Menu.
