Introduction

Welcome to VITO AudioPlayer - the easiest solution for listening to music on the go. With this player you don't have to beat your way through endless menus just to listen to your favorite music. We hope you'll enjoy the simplicity of VITO AudioPlayer as we do our best to provide you with the best solutions for your mobile lifestyle.

Activation

Downloadable version of VITO AudioPlayer is fully functional and has to be purchased and activated for further usage after 14-day trial period. Please purchase VITO AudioPlayer at www.vitotechnology.com

To activate:

  • connect your device to Internet
  • start VITO AudioPlayer
  • go to Menu > Activate
  • type in your activation code from the e-mail you received from VITO after purchasing AudioPlayer and press Activate now.

    In case you can't connect to Internet from your pocket PC, activation will take more time: click Activate off-line and carefully read instructions in the pop-up window. After you've performed the necessary action you will receive an e-mail with the necessary instructions for completing your activation.

    Note: as you can see on-line activation is much easier than the off-line variant, which can take considerably more time. We recommend you on-line activation.

    Playing

    to listen to an audio file:

  • start AudioPlayer from Start > Programs > AudioPlayer (on Pocket PC) or from Start > More > AudioPlayer (on Smartphone)
  • choose a folder with music content with joystick (press the central joystick button to enter the folder)
  • select an audio file and press the left soft key to play it
  • press the left soft key while playing repeatedly to pause or resume playing
  • press Menu > Stop to stop playing

    to play all audio content in a folder:

  • start AudioPlayer from Start > Programs > AudioPlayer (on Pocket PC) or from Start > More > AudioPlayer (on Smartphone)
  • choose a folder with music content with joystick (up or down) but do not enter it
  • press the left soft key to play all music content in this folder

    Playback modes

    to play a single audio file:

  • start AudioPlayer from Start > Programs > AudioPlayer (on Pocket PC) or from Start > More > AudioPlayer (on Smartphone)
  • choose a folder with music content with joystick (press the central joystick button to enter the folder)
  • choose a file and press the central joystick button
  • in the pulldowm menu choose Play single file
    VITO AudioPlayer will playback a single audio file and stop if Repeat is not turned on. To turn on Repeat got to Menu and tick Repeat

    to play an audio book:

  • start AudioPlayer from Start > Programs > AudioPlayer (on Pocket PC) or from Start > More > AudioPlayer (on Smartphone)
  • choose a folder with music content with joystick (press the central joystick button to enter the folder)
  • choose a file and press the central joystick button
  • in the pulldowm menu choose Play as audio book
  • stop listening to audio book by pressing Menu > Stop
  • to resume listening to audio book press the central joystick button on it and in the pulldown menu choose Resume audio book
    If you have not listened an audio book to the end, VITO AudioPlayer will resume playing from the point where you stopped.

    to play all music files in the current folder:

  • start AudioPlayer from Start > Programs > AudioPlayer (on Pocket PC) or from Start > More > AudioPlayer (on Smartphone)
  • choose a folder with music content with joystick (press the central joystick button to enter the folder)
  • choose a file and press the central joystick button
  • in the pulldowm menu choose Play folder

    to play all music files in the current folder and subfolders:

  • start AudioPlayer from Start > Programs > AudioPlayer (on Pocket PC) or from Start > More > AudioPlayer (on Smartphone)
  • choose a folder with music content with joystick (press the central joystick button to enter the folder)
  • choose a file and press the central joystick button
  • in the pulldowm menu choose Play with subfolder

    Options

    to turn on Shuffle:

  • go to Menu and tick Shuffle
    Depending on the playback mode AudioPlayer randomly plays audio files only in the current folder or in subfolders as well. To choose the necessary playback mode refer to Playback modes section in this manual.

    to turn on Repeat:

  • go to Menu and tick Repeat
    When you play a single file it is played repeatedly. When listening to audio book Repeat is ignored because very often audio books consist of more than one file. When you play folder AudioPlayer plays all the files in the folder one by one (given Shuffle is turned off) and starts again. The same happens when you play with subfolders: AudioPlayer plays all files in the folder and subfolders one by one and starts again. To choose the necessary playback mode refer to Playback modes section in this manual.

    to turn on Bass Boost:

  • go to Menu and tick Bass Boost
    The option is quite self explaining. Turn it on to get the most of basses from your mobile speakers.

    to refresh the list of audio files:

  • go to Menu and press Refresh
    You may need this to refresh a list of audio files after you have downloaded new files to your mobile device.
