VITO AudioNotes is a wm5 recorder capable of phone call recording on most Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphones.
VITO AudioNotes is a wm6 recorder capable of phone call recording on some Windows Mobile 6.0 Smartphones.
VITO AudioNotes also works on Windows Mobile 2003 Smartphones but does not record phone calls on these Windows Mobile Smartphones.
Note that phone calls are not recorded on absolutely all Windows Mobile 5.0 and on all Windows Mobile 6.0 Smartphones as well. We recommend you to download the trial version of VITO AudioNotes and see how phone call recording goes on your device. Enabling speakerphone feature sometimes solves the problem.

This simple software does what it says it does in a clean and useful way. And in my tests with the Auto Gain Control it clearly captured the audio sources I needed in high quality recordings. This product will work well in the office, on campus or anywhere else a reliable recording is needed.
The Audio Notes application produces (even at the lowest quality setting) very clear recordings. I would think that the high quality WAV format would be suitable for creating a podcast, although a third party audio editor (and a large storage card) would be needed. Features such as VAS and automatic gain control make this a very well rounded recorder.
Compared to the alternative call recorder apps, the latest version of VITO AudioNotes is indeed highly recommended.
I have used VITO Audio Notes for a couple of months, and it has met my needs for recording class notes as well as phone calls. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend this application.
